Poly-B Replacement in Kelowna
If your home was built between 1985 and 1998, there's a good chance poly-B pipe is still behind your walls. Connexion Plumbing replaces it with modern PEX — done right, permitted, and at a fixed price.
Why replace poly-B now?
Insurance risk: Many BC insurers are now flagging poly-B at renewal time, requiring proof of replacement before continuing coverage. If you've received a notice, act sooner rather than later.
Poly-B was installed across Kelowna neighbourhoods — Rutland, Glenmore, the Lower Mission, Dilworth, and West Kelowna — from 1985 until manufacturers discontinued it in the late 1990s. Many systems are now 25–40 years old, well past poly-B's expected service life.
The pipe degrades from the inside out, making it nearly impossible to detect a problem until it fails. Replacing it now is far cheaper than the water damage a burst pipe causes.
